Seville airport to the centre

1 h route2 stopsBest: The EA bus is the only public option: check its timetableUpdated July 2026

IN SHORT

There are only two ways into the centre: TUSSAM’s EA bus or a taxi. There is no metro to the airport, the projected line has been on paper for years, so don’t go looking for it. It’s ten kilometres north-east of the city, off the A-4.

The choice is simple: with luggage, in a group, or at an awkward hour, take the flat-fare taxi. Travelling light and the timetable fits, take the bus. Exact fares and times live on the operator’s site, linked from the city page.

The route, stop by stop

Bus EA (Airport Express): the only public line

TUSSAM’s Airport Special runs the only public line between the airport and the city: it ends at Plaza de Armas, the bus station by the river, passing through the centre and Santa Justa (the high-speed rail station).

It runs a wide timetable, from very early in the morning until past midnight, but it isn’t 24h: if your flight lands in the small hours, don’t count on it.

Check the TUSSAM website before you fly.

  2. 02

    Taxi: flat fare, ten kilometres

The airport sits ten kilometres from the centre on the A-4 and there’s an established flat fare, so you know what you’re paying before getting in. It’s a short run: without traffic, under twenty minutes. It pays off with luggage, in a group, or if you land when the bus has stopped. With two or more people, the gap with bus tickets narrows considerably.

Frequently asked

Is there a metro to Seville airport?

No. The line that would connect it is a project that has gone unbuilt for years. The only ways into the centre are TUSSAM’s EA bus and the taxi, which has a flat fare.

How do you get from Seville airport to the centre?

By TUSSAM’s EA (Airport Special) bus, which runs to Plaza de Armas via the centre and Santa Justa, or by taxi, which has a flat fare. It’s about ten kilometres on the A-4.

Does the Seville airport bus run at night?

It isn’t a 24-hour service: it runs a wide timetable, from very early until past midnight, but it doesn’t cover the small hours. If your flight lands then, plan on a taxi.
